Congratulations to Ramona & Beezus!! This dynamic schnauzer duo volunteer with PALS. Beezus helps out at the Renfrew Detox and Recovery center, and Ramona volunteers her time at the Foothills medical centre. Ramona's been volunteering for 3 years! That's 21 dog years! And Beezus has been volunteering for 14 dog years. What a pair!! They will be soon immortalized in paint as a way to thank them fur all their hard work.

#PaintMyFurbaby3 2017 Holiday Edition Contest (the “Contest”) is open to nominations for residents who are the age of majority in their province, and who reside in the Calgary area (including Airdrie, Okotoks, High River, Cochrane).
WHAT TO ENTER: A photo and story of an amazing furball who so deserves to be immortalized in paint furever!
Good candidates are pets with jobs (police/fire, rescue), pet volunteers (who are registered with a not-for-profit or charitable organization), a pet who is an an amazing advocate for a cause!
Any kind of pet is welcome, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, amphibian, reptile or another kind of critter. Photos that are well lit and as clear as possible are ideal! The painted portraits will be of head/shoulders - while full body images are certainly welcome, please keep in mind winners painted portraits will be cropped. Please do not submit stock photo images, images of captive animals photographed in zoos or commercial game farms - these will be disqualified automatically.
Please include only pets in your pictures, I do paint humans too, but this contest is for the four-legged types! Please a submit a photo that you have permission to, either a photo taken by you, or you have permission from the photographer. By submitting a photo you grant the rights to reproduce and post the submitted image for the purposes of the contest. By submitting your photo, you also grant the reproduction rights (in print or web formats) of any artwork created from the photo for future promotional uses and purposes (for example, last year's winning portraits are used to advertise this year's contest).
Entrants must NOT submit images that involve human nudity, the willful harassment of any animal, put any individual or animal in danger or harm, or infringe on the rights of any other photographer or person. Any submitted images that depict an animal in distress or abuse will be disqualified and be reported to authorities.
HOW TO ENTER:
Submit your photo and picture by emailing bri@bripetportraits.com by December 16 2017.
Please include your full name. The pet's name (and associated human), and a phone number you can be reached at.
Winner & Prize: The winner will be determined by December 18 2017. You as the nominee will be contacted by email or phone. The winner (the pet who is nominated), will win a 12" x 12" portrait, to be painted and delivered on December 23 or December 24 with the nominee present to the winner (based on winner and nominee availability). Ideally, this is a surprise for the winner (but hay, it's hard to keep a secret sometimes!).
Your privacy is important, and your contact information will NOT be shared with any other party and will not be used for any purpose other than to you contact you regarding the contest.
The winner will be announced on Christmas day with the release of a short video on Bri Pet Portrait social media channels sharing their story, their nomination, their picture and finished portrait and (pending permissions and model release) the receipt of the prize.
